OUR LEADER -
Apostle Thomas Chambliss, II
Apostle Thomas Chambliss, II is an anointed, appointed, dynamic deliverer of the Word of God. Apostle Chambliss was born on August 31, 1970 to the parentage of the late Ms. Barbara Ann Walker Chambliss and Thomas Chambliss, I. Apostle Chambliss attended Bibb County Public Schools where he graduated from Central High School in 1988. He also received a scholarship to attend the University of Georgia where he studied Geographical Information Systems. His desire was to attain a degree in Christian Counseling and he did just that. He attended Rehoboth Theological School and received a Specialists Degree in Anger Management and Counseling as well as becoming a licensed Chaplain for the State of Georgia in 2016.
Apostle Chambliss is a faithful husband to his wife First Lady Alicia Chambliss of almost 31 Years, and devoted father to their three children, Tiara, Mia, and Thomas III.
Apostle Chambliss accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior at the age of 18. He responded to the call to preach at his trial sermon in October of 1998 . He was later appointed and ordained as youth pastor of New Joy Church of God in Christ in Athens, Georgia.
In 2003, the Lord urged Apostle Chambliss and his family to move back to Macon, Georgia, his hometown to continue his growth in ministry. Apostle Chambliss and his family became faithful watch care members under the leadership of Bishop B. Michael Burney Sr. at Living Waters Full Gospel Ministries in Macon. During this time, Apostle Chambliss started bible study in his grandparent’s home, where friends and family members gathered to fellowship. In 2004, the lord called his mother Barbara Ann Walker-Chambliss home to rest. Later that same year while praying for strength, the Lord gave him the name Divine Grace one night in a dream. He began to pray and ask God for resources and people who would be eager for God's unadulterated word.
The first service was held on the 2nd Sunday of March in 2006. Apostle Chambliss has seen the membership go through many changes, but there is one constant, "God is still in the midst." Over the past 17 years the Lord has shown his faithfulness to the ministry through miracles, healings, blessings, restorations, and salvation. Thus far in his tenure as Pastor, Apostle Chambliss continues to provide vision and effectual leadership to Divine Grace Full Gospel Church and its members.
Elder Chambliss was ordained as an Apostle under the leadership of Bishop B. Michael Burney Sr. and the M.I.A.A. umbrella, in October of 2022.
As a father, husband, and man of God, Apostle Chambliss embodies the model of Christ, who witnesses to others by his demonstration of love. The future looks bright as the Lord continues to use Apostle Chambliss as the visionary and leader to guide the Divine Grace Full Gospel Church congregation from one degree of grace to another. Pray for Apostle Chambliss and Divine Grace Full Gospel Church as we strive to do the will of the lord.
